At Obrador de Moviments, we are committed to personal and artistic development through the arts of movement and somatic education techniques. With The Feldenkrais Training Barcelona we offer you the possibility of becoming an Accredited Practitioner of the Method.
New Feldenkrais Professional Training Group 23-27
On 15th of July, we started the first segment.
If you want to be part of the training, you still have time to join the group in our next segment.
We have a team of international trainers with whom we share the desire to promote, support and offer a curriculum with the highest level of competencies. Our didactic approach is adapted to the needs of modern life and the training focuses on the student’s process to find his or her way to internalize the Feldenkrais Method.
Why Feldenkrais?
While more and more areas of modern life are dominated by technology, essential values of humanity remain uncovered, such as awareness, human touch, mindfulness and respect for oneself, others and the environment. Feldenkrais addresses these essential values and is based on our intrinsic capacity to learn and develop. The principles of organic learning can be applied in a variety of fields whether preventive, therapeutic or creative. If you are looking for new ways to improve the quality of your life, your well-being and your health, Feldenkrais offers a unique tool to develop those properties in a simple and at the same time brilliant way.
Why become a Feldenkrais Practitioner?
If you seek the full potential of the Feldenkrais Method – and your own – the training process is surely the best option. Out curriculum encourages personal development, self-knowledge and health in a unique way. You will find fundamental elements to transform your relationship with yourself and your environment, both on a personal and a professional level. At the end of the training you are qualified to work as a professional of the Method (Feldenkrais Practitioner).
Why train with us?
There is an intersection between all Feldenkrais trainings over the world due to the guidelines for international accreditation. Nevertheless, there is a wide range of variables between the different trainings and the approach of the educational direction.
We are an experienced and integrated team and committed to the humanistic values of Moshe Feldenkrais’ legacy. That means that we believe in the potential of each human being to learn, improve and evolve. To create the best possible context for this to happen, we pay special attention to respect and gentleness in all interactions.
Our official teaching language is Spanish, in order to optimize time resources and to avoid the inevitable loss of precision in the contents due to translations.
Our large experience allows us to observe and accompany the process of each student from a global perspective. Thanks to the online meetings in between the modules, we will foment continuity and dialogue.
In addition, the training takes place in a space that offers optimal conditions for this kind of learning, and we have all the necessary resources to offer you a training with the highest level of competencies.

Our training
The Feldenkrais Barcelona Training (FFB 2023-2027) is internationally accredited by the European Accreditation Board (Euro-TAB) which is the responsible institution to supervise the quality standards of trainings in Europe. Following the international guidelines, this program is composed of 800 hours which are distributed throughout four years. Classes are taught mainly in live modules of 8 to 20 days during holiday periods and complemented by little in-between online meetings.
Pedagogical objectives
Our training has two main facets:
- It provides the framework, the contents and the means for a unique learning process with a great potential for reorganization and personal development at all levels.
- It trains the student to work professionally with the Feldenkrais® Method, both at group and individual level. These two modalities are called Self-Awareness through Movement® and Functional Integration®.
Format
Since 2020, a certain percentage of online hours has been introduced in the official accreditation guidelines. We clearly stand on the side of live-teaching whenever possible.
That´s why we decided to include the online meeting only to facilitate continuity and support a fluid dialogue between students and their trainers. These online meetings will be on a weekend between modules (in units of not more than 3 hours per day). In our program, more than 90% is live teaching and less than 10% online.
Language
The training will be taught entirely in Spanish. If this is exceptionally not the case, there will be a simultaneous translation into Spanish.
