Edward Tamayo

Edward organizes his training around two approaches: Mantra and the Flying Low technique. Mantra is a choreographic training focused on the relationship between the body and space, the group, and musicality, based on the looped repetition of structures or sequences. The Flying Low technique (created by David Zambrano) is based on the ability to enter and exit the floor efficiently and spontaneously. This technique focuses on the skeletal structure, which will help improve the dancer’s physical awareness and alertness.

Pau Arán

Pau Aran Gimeno (Barcelona, 1981) is a professional dancer currently living and working in Germany. He began dancing at the age of eleven and soon studied all its styles: Latin American, standard, jazz, modern ballet, and classical ballet. He completed his studies at the Mariemma Professional Dance Conservatory in Madrid and later at the Folkwang Hochschule der Künste in Essen, before joining the Tanztheater Wuppertal – Pina Bausch ensemble in 2005, continuing as a guest until 2020.

In 2020, he began a collaboration with Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, which continues to this day. Pau has also danced for other choreographers such as Theo Clinkard, Alan Lucien Oyen, Antonio Ruz, Stefan Jovanović, and Jorge Puerta Armenta.

His current motivation is to continue developing the expression of his art through body language, focusing on the creation and pedagogy of contemporary dance. His pursuit of beauty, movement, and interest in the poetics of contemporary dance theater are represented in his projects. Committed to sharing previously acquired knowledge and experiences with the next generation of artists, Pau simultaneously encourages self-discovery in his students and collaborators.
